Call For Papers

International Research Conference 2026 (SLTC-IRC2026) of Sri Lanka Technology Campus welcomes authors to submit either full papers or extended abstracts that align with the conference theme for possible inclusion in oral or poster presentations.
PLEASE NOTE: Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered. Prospective authors are invited to submit technical papers of their previously unpublished work.

The page limit for full papers is 6-8 pages, and for extended abstracts, the page count should be within 2-4 pages.

Specific instructions for preparing your manuscript can be found in the provided author guide and templates for both full papers and extended abstracts, which are available in Word formats (Restric to formatting and editing only commenting view).

All papers for technical track papers should be submitted via Conference Management Toolkit (CMT).

Technical track papers should be written in English language.

Double blind reviewing process will be used, and the accepted extended abstracts will be Published in conference proceedings, best papers submitted for the IRC 2026 will be considered for publication in the JESET.

All submissions undergo a double-blind review, meaning both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other. Each paper is evaluated by at least two experts in the relevant field, assessing factors such as originality and novelty, research design, quality of analysis and interpretation, Organization and clarity, and alignment of the thematic area. 

Furthermore, all submissions involving human or animal research must include a certified copy of the ethics approval letter issued by a recognized Ethics Review Committee.

This document should be uploaded during the submission process. Papers not presented during the conference will be excluded from the conference proceedings and will not be eligible for indexing in academic databases.

All submissions to the International Research Conference 2026 (SLTC-IRC2026) of Sri Lanka Technology Campus must be original and free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, and must properly acknowledge prior publications, whether the authors’ own or others. Manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism, and a similarity index above 20% will be considered a violation. Any paper found to exceed this threshold or to contain plagiarized material will be summarily rejected. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to withdraw accepted or published papers, blacklist authors from future conferences, and report cases of plagiarism to the authors’ affiliated institutions or relevant professional bodies.

The use of generative AI tools in manuscript preparation must be disclosed in the submission. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and originality of AI-assisted content. Undisclosed use of AI for writing or generating results will be treated as a violation of academic integrity.

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support

The best papers presented at IRC 2026 will be considered for publication in the Journal of Engineering, Science, and Technology (JESET) — 2nd Issue, December 2026.

Submission of Camera-Ready Version

The submitted abstracts and papers will undergo a blind peer review process to determine their acceptance for presentation. If your submission is accepted, you will be required to provide the camera-ready version in both PDF and source file formats. Both the presenter and the corresponding author must pre-register for the conference.
