Submission Guidelines

IRC2026 welcomes authors to submit either full papers or extended abstracts that align with the conference theme for possible inclusion in oral or poster presentations. The page limit for full papers is 6-8 pages, and for extended abstracts, the page count should be within 2-4 pages. Additionally, all submissions must be in English and submitted on or before the deadline of the 6th of April 2026. Specific instructions for preparing your manuscript can be found in the provided templates for both full papers and extended abstracts, which are available in Word formats. To electronically submit your full paper or extended abstract (in PDF format), please use the designated submission link. Additionally, submit the author declaration form through the paper submission portal.
Furthermore, all submissions involving human or animal research must include a certified copy of the ethics approval letter issued by a recognized Ethics Review Committee. This document should be uploaded during the submission process. Papers not presented during the conference will be excluded from the conference proceedings and will not be eligible for indexing in academic databases.

Author Guideline

Submission of Camera-Ready Version

The submitted abstracts and papers will undergo a blind peer review process to determine their acceptance for presentation. If your submission is accepted, you will be required to provide the camera-ready version in both PDF and source file formats. Both the presenter and the corresponding author must pre-register for the conference. Should you have any questions or require assistance regarding the format or submission process for extended abstracts or full papers, please feel free to contact the Conference Secretariat at irc2026@sltc.ac.lk.

All submissions to the International Research Conference 2026 (SLTC-IRC2026) of Sri Lanka Technology Campus must be original and free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, and must properly acknowledge prior publications, whether the authors’ own or others. Manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism, and a similarity index above 20% will be considered a violation. Any paper found to exceed this threshold or to contain plagiarized material will be summarily rejected. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to withdraw accepted or published papers, blacklist authors from future conferences, and report cases of plagiarism to the authors’ affiliated institutions or relevant professional bodies.

The use of generative AI tools in manuscript preparation must be disclosed in the submission. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and originality of AI-assisted content. Undisclosed use of AI for writing or generating results will be treated as a violation of academic integrity.

  • To be published in the IRC 2026  Conference Proceedings at least one author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the relevant rate.
  • One registration allows the author to upload up to 3 papers on which he/she is an author or co-author.
  • The paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission in advance of the event for a substitute presenter, who is qualified both to present and answer questions as per the author transfer policy given below.

Author Transfer Policy

All requests for registration transfers must be provided in writing and email to irc2026@sltc.ac.lk by 10th October 2026 with paper ID and title. This covers when a registered author is not available for attending/presenting at the conference.

If an author or co-author is NOT available to present the paper at the conference, the Technical Program Committee Chair may grant permission in some extreme cases to have the paper presented by a substitute presenter. If you need to make such a request, please contact us at irc2026@sltc.ac.lk no later than 10th October, 2026 and we will send it to the Technical Program Committee Chair for approval.
