The Faculty of Postgraduate Studies & Research (FPSR) at Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC) serves as the strategic nucleus for advancing postgraduate education and research excellence. By seamlessly integrating academic inquiry with industry collaboration, FPSR cultivates an ecosystem that fosters innovation, discovery, and societal impact.

Under the leadership of the Dean of Postgraduate Studies & Research, FPSR oversees graduate admissions, research collaborations, grants, research outreach, mentoring activities, and academic progress. Postgraduate education is meticulously managed by the Board of Studies, ensuring the academic integrity and excellence of advanced degree programs such as the MBA and MSc in Electronics & Communications Engineering. Complementing this, the Research Cell orchestrates the university’s research endeavors, fostering a vibrant environment for scholarly inquiry and innovation.

To bolster research and innovation, SLTC has established a dual-structured framework comprising two pivotal arms: Services and Administration & Development. The Office for Research and Innovation Services (ORIS) serves as the linchpin for research facilitation, promoting innovation, organizing research events, and managing research funds. Simultaneously, the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) and the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) drive the administrative and developmental aspects of research, including project management, publication oversight, and the commercialization of research outcomes.

FPSR also spearheads key initiatives such as the International Research Conference (IRC) and the Emerging Scholars’ Research Programme, further solidifying SLTC’s reputation as a hub for academic excellence and innovation.
